Windows 10's latest update blocks ALL email attachments with "Virus scan failed" message

Windows 10's latest automatic update blocks all my email attachments with "Virus scan failed", even pdf statements from fnb. I trust fnb above Microsoft. All my "Attachment Manager" settings are as per the MS site recommendations.
