Windows 10 sucks

I have intentionally refused to accept any of the numerous invitations to upgrade to Windows 10. However, today Windows 7 was automatically upgraded (I presume as an automatic update). However, this is not an update, but an upgrade and it has now caused substantial loss and delay to me, as it does not function on my laptop. Firstly I had to work through, what appears to be a common problem with Windows 10 and that is that I was left with a black screen. Then I had to update my bios and now, I cannot access control panel and most of my software now seem to get stuck (including other older Microsoft products). I'm not happy and this must be one of the worst Microsoft products that I have used.
