Staff cannot identify devices they service
In or about February 2015, I visited the Alpha Cellular Care Location in ***ey Road, Durban. This is an authorised repairer and the only one in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

I have a Lumia 930.

I took the Lumia 930 to them as a result of marks that I discovered underneath the LCD. I was informed that an LCD panel would be ordered and that this would take upto three weeks.

I returned on 31 March 2015. I was informed that the Lumia 930 must be booked in. My simcard tray was removed by the staff member. She then took a pin and prodded at the slot where the simcard tray is inserted into the phone. I then questioned her asking what she was doing. She said that there is normally another tray. I then told her it is a Lumia 930, there is no other tray as there is no removable SD card. I then asked her if she is certain that she did not now damage the copper connectors by having prodded at the slot with a pin. She did not answer.

I find it quite dissatisfying that staff members are not fami**** with products that they are to service. Perhaps Microsoft should look at appointing someone else as an approved care location.

I hope that my device is not damaged in any way.
