Problems with changing multiplayer

These guys are doing false advertising and it makes me mad I don't have an Xbox but I need one to change my family settings for multiplayer and all because every time you make an Xbox account on your laptop it always thinks that you are a child. I mean put a laptop together with a wired Xbox controller and there you have your self a laptop but at the same time an Xbox.
