3 of our users are having issues connecting to a working VPN connection (Cisco Meraki Cloud VPN), both on windows 10 home and pro.
No Configuration changes have been made to our VPN settings on the Meraki MX
We have another 50 odd users connecting to this VPN just fine via l2tp.
All the above mentioned users machines have been configured exactly the same for the VPN connection.
Event Viewer shows a Rasclient 809 error.
When googling this error there are multiple suggested solutions which myself and my team have tried, which include the below:
* Editing the registry "PolicyAgent" * Disabling the Xbox Live Networking Service * Ensuring that the SSTP Service is enabled and running * and More
My team has been trying to get through to the right department within Microsoft for assistance with this issue. We have been transferred from department to department with no real assistance at all with regards to this issue.
We've been going at this for over 8 hours already. I don't understand how we have certain machines that cannot connect to the VPN, specifically new machines with later windows builds and over 50 users that can connect just fine.
I would at least be satisfied if Microsoft actually investigated the issue and then advised that the issue is not on their side. However not even this was done.
I am not at all impressed with the level of service that Microsoft provided myself and my team.
