Microsoft Service? Another Delta Airlines

1. I purchased a new PC but could not transfer my existing legally purchased Microsoft License to my new Laptop.
2. I called various departments at the Microsoft call centres on numerous occasions to assist, all of which came to no avail.
3. Some of the advises given to me were –
a. Purchase a new Microsoft license irrespective of my ownership of a Microsoft 2013 license and ongoing monthly payment for Office;
b. Despite provision of a valid license code/ key, Microsoft stated that I had *******ly acquired all the Microsoft software;
c. Pay US$400 for a call out fee;
d. Purchase a new laptop.
4. When I tried to telephonically contact Microsoft South Africa directly (over 14 times), I could not get past the reception desk. The receptionist refused to put me through to customer complaints (or equivalent) or her manager.
5. I eventually gave my brand-new laptop to a IT company to setup as Microsoft online support had deleted all licenses during its “remote assistance”.
6. All my calls to Microsoft were recorded as are all of my emails stored.
7. I called Microsoft complaints line in the USA and advised them of this incident (offered this complaint line all the recordings) and they in turn ignored this complaint.
8. I cannot stop the existing monthly debit order (without recourse per advices from Microsoft) and thus am paying for two licenses that I do not need. I have further waisted a paid-up license based on Microsoft non-willingness to assist me.
9. The service levels offered to a paying customer are unacceptable. Microsoft as an entity should be ashamed and if an alternate provider was available at this point I would gladly make use of it.
