Microsoft is the best for people with cash NOT CANCER

So I reached out to Lillian Barnard at Microsoft Johannesburg, first on LinkedIn, then tried emailing, then tried Facebook, then called on ***.

At each door I was blocked and eventually told politely when I once got through to *** that my request would be considered.

So this was my letter:

Good morning Mrs. Barnard,

My name is Sean ******xx, I'm 54 years of age, live in Cape Town South Africa.

Please can you help me?

I lost my job in November 2017 around the same time I got cancer. I am being seen by doctor's at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town and am struggling to find employment.

My wish is to get the latest Xbox X series for my daughter who's only dream is to play Minecraft.

I have sold several of my personal items to raise the funds to get ******xx the Xbox X.

I have been able to come up with R5250.00 but I'm still coming up a little short.

All that I can still sell is an old pool table I received on my 50th Birthday but even with those proceeds I don't think we'll get to the amount that we need!

Mrs. Barnard, I am very humble and know how the world works but is there any way that you could please lend us a helping hand?

It would mean a lot to me but would mean the world to ******x.

I would appreciate any help you could please offer me.

I know that this route I chose will burn any chances I had of getting Microsoft to help me but it would have been nice if Microsoft would have just spoken with me!
