Lumia phone users are not supported by Microsoft

<p>I have important files on my Lumia cellphone. I attempted to connect my cellphone to my laptop to use these files. The computer displayed a message telling me to download an app. When I tried to download the app, the computer displayed a message telling me to download the latest version of Internet Explorer. I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer available for Windows 7 (Internet Explorer 11). The computer still does not allow me download the app and it still does not connect to my phone. I attempted to use the Microsoft Support website. The website redirected me to a client service website with the name "B2X" The B2X website is a maze leading to dead ends.</p> <p>I do not use pirated software. Previously I tried to use Windows 10 but I have gone back to Windows 7 because of the problems (too numerous to describe here) that Windows 10 has caused me. I will never purchase a Microsoft product in the future.</p>
