Faulty Software

Well I'm sure there is hardly anyone satisfied with the new windows 8, no surprise there or that this is a company who doesn't respond on hellopeter. Anyway. My new laptop crashed for some reason. I didn't make any changes, all my programs are licensed programs. The only thing I changed was the user control access and the best part is I changed it back to default. Then the laptop went into a temporary profile and there is just no way of getting it out of it. I ran a diagnostic test, no errors, deleted the McAfee antivirus that came with the computer and am still trying to get the computer out of safe mode. So I contact microsoft and they can help me but only if I pay them. Really? Now i need to pay you to help me because you created a faulty software???? How does this work???? I am very disappointed in Dell, Microsoft and McAfee.
