A comododie is much worth than a life.

On 03 December,2019 i bought 2 NEW Michellin tyres from Hi Q tyres. Parow At 200 kms later on 27 December,2019 i received a flat wheel near to a high crime area and i had to drive +- 2 kms to where it was safe to park and change the wheel. On 28 December,2019 i took the flat wheel to Hi Q to have repaired and they told me that it was irepairable due to me driving a couple kms with a flat wheel. I then fitted a new tyre again. They showed me a thick round piece of metal which went into the tyre causing the puncture. The salesman who was a great customer service guy told me that he would write out a report and ask one of Michellin's Tyres reps to view the tyre. The rep took about 3 weeks to view the tyre and said to me whom i have called personally explaining the conditions i was in round 2210 hrs in the evening it was due to my negligence driving on the flat wheel and Michellin would not compensate me as they had no roadhazard warranties on their tyres as other tyre manufacturers.. My question is should i would have rather put my life in danger and change the wheel and maybe be minus my life and car. Don't tyre manufacturers look at each incident and merit a claim accordingly ? Also on 24 February,2020 i fitted another 2 new Michellin tyres and got a free road hazard for each tyre. ( 2 months later )
