Unreliable, *********** and unsatisfactory

I used Michanic once before and the experience was pleasant, which prompted me to use them again. On this occasion, it was disappointing in the extreme. The mechanic stood me up on the first appointment and came late on the second. He misdiagnosed the problem with the car in the first instance, prescribing a light switch to be replaced. Then I was advised that they could not find a light switch for my car. I found one myself and when it was installed, the problem of the rear and brake lights not working persisted. I went to considerable effort and inconvenience and when I confronted them, the mechanic became defensive and argumentative. I asked for this to be escalated to management, only to receive two further diagnoses, supporting their mechanics, which incidentally contradicted their previous mechanics repair work. I asked for my call out fee to be refunded to no avail. I shall never use them again!
