THEY DELIVERED 2 AND A HALF MONTHS LATE

So my car was assessed by Michanic. I was told they needed to order a water hose, very important because without it I could hurt the engine, it was going to take 32 days for the hose to get to me and, of course, I had to pay close to R2000 before the item could be ordered. I paid on 24 Jan 2025 and it was supposed to arrive at the end of Feb 2025, but it didn't. I left the country for a month, I got back, no word about it. Around mid to late April I had to call them for an update. They booked an appointment for the installation only for the mechanic to come to my door and tell me there is no hose. Eventually in the 1st week of May I'm told its coming next week. So the next week I call to remind them. I get an email to notify me of an appointment for the installation, and then on the day of installation they call me to cancel the appointment. I asked the agents if the company was offering any compensation for the negligence and inefficiency. Two and a half months late on their promised delivery. Who would bail me out if my car ran out of water and the engine was damaged. They said they would get back to me ... not even a feeble half-hearted apology ... and I'm still waiting for them to get back to me ...
