Unhelpful service

I revived a Michael Kors watch which was bought in Columbus Circle in New York City in January 2017 I was told multiple times I had a year warranty on the watch. I took it took it to the Michael Kors in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town South Africa, and asked how they could help me regarding the problem with the stones falling out of the metal links in the watch strap, I was told they would not help me and that I would have to go to the same branch It was bought in thousands of miles away, they were not helpful at all and did not even offer a solution to the problem.
