The worst possible, Mica pools were paid 90% of the quoted price, but only 50% of the work was done. The remaining 10% was to be paid on job completion. The quote was for a 8x4 pool and the cost included heating panels and a pool blanket. The 90% was paid in two portions, 60% on quote acceptance and 30% after the hole was dug, but before they were to start with the reinforcements, Cement etc. The agreed time to deliver and finished to pool was 3 weeks, by week 5 they were still busy with cement and plaster. When it was time to start with the fibreglass Mica pools (Andre) phoned me asking for the remaining 10%, I told him that he is putting me at huge risk as the completion is only around 50-60% as the fibreglass, solar panels, water feature finishing are all still outstanding. That was the last I heard of him, I phoned him numerous times without success, he eventually send me a message saying I must get someone else to complete the work as he ran out of cash. I rep**** asking about the material like the solar panels, blanket that I paid him already for, no reply. I had to find another contractor to do the fibreglass and panels, only to find that the pipes Mica Pools laid for the solar was wrong and they had to redo it.
