I sent a withdrawal of funds application on the 22nd of May 2020 i did not receive a reply of assistance until 23 June 2020 ( a month Later) and this only after I phoned continuously for an hour trying to reach the consultant supposed to assist me with this or at least someone else who could assist with my case. I have sent all the correct documentation, i have also had to resend information which was ALREADY included in the required documentation which was sent. And after all this I still cannot get a hold of the assigned rep telephonically and i would not receive a response to my e-mails where i was asking for any updates regarding the withdrawal of MY funds. It has taken near 3 months to get a simple withdrawal of funds completed with a minimum response from any representative of MIRF/MIBCO, apart from the agent who was supposed to help eventually responding to my emails with request of information which was already included in the documentation. Bear in mind this is a month after my initial application) The only updates i have received were that my documents have been sent and added to the queue for processing, with a few more emails of the agent sending an email to the "Query" email address asking for updates of the withdrawal process as if to try and make it seem like an effort is being made with my case. (Also no responses form the "Query email address)
No matter if there is a large work load regarding other withdrawals or regarding the impact of the covid 19 lockdown.
The effect cannot be so large that this matter cannot be handled and closed within 2 and a half months. (This including information which was required from myself.)
2 and a half months is a sufficient period of time to assist a client.
MIBCO/MIRF is useless. Stay away from them if you want YOUR money available to YOU.
