NO COC AND WORK DOESNT COMPLY WITH REGULATORY STANDARDS

July 2024 We contacted the owner of MGB plumbers (MARTIN) to come and quote on installing new gas geysers and redo all the existing gas installations with a COC at our Guest house. He gave us a quote on the work that needs to be done as per his assessment .September 2024 we paid the deposit as requested. 23 Days later the installation was eventually completed. The balance was paid in full. After that we requested a COC certificate... After all of this ,He advised us that we need a Commercial COC. Surely he should have known this from the beginning? MGB got asked another company to give us a COC...... They came to inspect and said 8x installations does not comply with regulatory standards and can not supply us wit a COC.(sent a Quote for R19 650 ) to get it to standards. It's 3 months Later (paid in FULL) and no CoC till today.

We have Started with the legal route now and will report MGB PLUMBERS to the SAQCC COMITEE and all other boards or committee that they are registered with.
