Lack of professionalism by Mgabhi ZN Projects.

I had hired Mgabhi ZN Project for painting, removal, and installation of tiling however this company has caused me unnecessary stress and headaches. The level of unprofessionalism is appalling. I'm originally from Durban but based overseas due to work and most of our communication was through WhatsApp messages. A few days after connecting, he went to my house to see how much material would be needed etc. We agreed on the price which I have messages as evident. When he started the project, I paid him half of what he charged me and he later requested more which I paid. This man later changed our agreement and utterly **** that we didn’t agree on installing tiles in the bedroom. I forwarded him a screenshot of our agreement and he attempted to gaslight me to refrain from fulfilling our agreement. The owner of this company is clueless when it comes to what he prides himself on, he has financially drained me with inaccurate quotations, and I had to spend over R6000 on extra material. When I reach out to him about the inaccurate quotations, he continuously lies about informing me. He’s not even on the premises for the project. My house has face bricks in front but he didn’t even know that a varnish is required for the bricks. After doing thorough research about him we later found out he just has a registered company and he exploits workers to sub under his company, he knows nothing about construction. Not so long ago, he sent me a voice note from one of the workers that sub under his company requesting money yet the project has not been finalized. It’s clear he hasn’t paid these people and lies to them that I have not made any payment. The ultimate frustration with this company is the lack of knowledge when it comes to material and dishonesty. I need to be focusing on my next project but I am busy adding more material due to his incompetence. Additionally, I would like to categorically state that, don’t waste your time with this company as he is extremely ***********, lacks knowledge, and is very unprofessional. This is the first time I’ve ever written any review but his lack of expertise has caused me financial distress. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to utilize his services rather look for more competent people who are skilled in this field. Feel free to reach out if you require evidence concerning this review.
