Exceptional Aftersales Service – Mr Sashin Moonasamy, MG Bryanston
I would like to take a moment to recognise Mr Sashin Moonasamy, the Aftersales Manager at MG Bryanston**, for what I can only describe as exceptional customer service. My experience with Mr Moonasamy started after I had made numerous visits to the branch complaining about an ongoing, never-ending noise coming from my brakes. After several attempts to have the issue resolved, I was eventually told that there was a new gentleman who had recently joined the team who would look into my complaint. That gentleman was Mr Moonasamy — and from the moment he took over the matter, I immediately noticed a completely different approach. Instead of simply dismissing my concerns, he listened. He took my complaint seriously and went through all the necessary steps to establish whether what I was experiencing was actually a valid concern. He considered the available options, investigated the matter properly and ultimately validated my complaint. He even tried contacting the branch that had originally fitted my brakes in an effort to get assistance and resolve the matter, but unfortunately, they were not available to assist him. What impressed me most was his patience and communication. Mr Moonasamy kept calling me personally to update me on the progress. He never left me wondering what was happening, and he continued to engage with me even when the situation became frustrating. When he realised that I was becoming increasingly frustrated, he went the extra mile. He invited me to come through to the branch on Saturday, 22 August 2026. Although they were only working a half-day, he gave me his personal assurance that he would make sure my brakes were attended to no matter how long it took. And he did exactly that. That experience told me a lot about the kind of person Mr Moonasamy is. What I have picked up about him is that he genuinely puts people and his customers first. Making sure that a customer is happy and that their problem is properly resolved appears to matter more to him than simply ticking a box and moving on to the next customer. I have honestly never encountered someone with such a combination of humility, patience and empathy. Sashin is incredibly down-to-earth. His sense of empathy is something I can only describe as being out of this world. You can genuinely tell that he was born for what he does. Something else that really stood out to me was that his humility isn't only reserved for customers. I observed the way he speaks to his colleagues, and he treats them with the same level of respect and humility. To me, that speaks volumes about someone's character. And his patience? 😂 I honestly don't know where he gets it from! It is something I have rarely seen. While I was waiting for my car to be attended to, Mr Moonasamy made me feel completely at home. I wasn't made to feel like I was just another customer with a complaint. I felt heard, respected and valued. Mr Moonasamy, thank you. Thank you for listening to me when I was frustrated. Thank you for taking my complaint seriously. Thank you for keeping me updated. Thank you for your patience and, most importantly, thank you for keeping your word. You didn't just attend to my brakes, you restored my confidence in the aftersales service at MG Bryanston. People like you are rare, and MG Bryanston should consider themselves fortunate to have someone of your character representing the dealership. 10 stars are simply not enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Keep doing what you do, Sashin. Exceptional Service from MG Bryanston – Mr Hillary Mupfayi Deserves Special Recognition
We purchased an Opel Mokka from MG Bryanston approximately two months ago, and I would like to take the time to recognise what was truly exceptional service from our salesman, Mr Hillary Mupfayi. From the very first interaction, Mr Mupfayi provided us with what I can honestly describe as 10-star service. His humility, professionalism and genuine passion for what he does immediately stood out. He made us feel comfortable, valued and confident in our decision, to the point that we did not feel the need to look anywhere else. We saw the vehicle, trusted his guidance and decided to purchase it with a smile and absolutely no regrets. What impressed us even more was the attention to detail he demonstrated before we collected the vehicle. Mr Mupfayi personally made sure that the car was prepared properly, including having brand-new, good-quality tyres fitted, a new battery installed and new brakes fitted. These are the kinds of details that give a customer peace of mind when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. Most importantly, he was transparent with us throughout the entire process. There were no unpleasant surprises and no feeling that anything was being hidden from us. His honesty and willingness to explain everything clearly made the entire buying experience enjoyable. It was also very clear that Mr Mupfayi wasn't simply doing a job, he was doing something he genuinely had a deep passion for. That passion came through in the way he communicated with us, paid attention to the smallest details and ensured that we were happy with our purchase. When I visited the branch at the end of June and was informed that Mr Mupfayi was no longer with the company, I was genuinely sad and disappointed. In my opinion, people like him are a tremendous asset to any dealership because they don't just sell cars; they create trust, confidence and lasting customer relationships. Although we were disappointed to hear that he had moved on, I sincerely wish Mr Mupfayi nothing but the very best in his future endeavours. Wherever he goes next, I have no doubt that his humility, honesty, passion and commitment to his customers will continue to set him apart. To MG Bryanston, thank you for the overall experience, and especially for having someone like Mr Hillary Mupfayi as part of your team. He certainly left a lasting impression on us. Hillary, thank you for making our Opel Mokka purchase such a memorable experience. Superb sales experience from Chantelle van Wyk and Bryce van Zyl with constant feedback, brilliant service & great prices. This is what vehicle sales is all about!!! For all those Corolla Cross owners whose cars are about to be highjacked/******, go and test drive the MG Zs Pro. Far better engine power & torque, best CVT gearbox in this segment, far better suspension and all the safety features you need at an astounding price.
