Total *******

Good day. I'm disappointed in MFC and Turnstone debt collectors, here is the story my account was in arrears with 2 months because I got dismissed at work and couldn't pay as I was waiting for my money. So when MFC called I spoke to some lady I'm not sure of the name and advised that I'm currently not working and waiting for my package that I was going to receive on the 25th of February. Next day I got a call from Graham from Turn stone and he advised that my account is handed over and I need to pay R9075.00 with an extra charge because it has been handed over. I told him I'm not working and willing to pay full amount on the 25th he advised that I must write a letter and confirm that Iam going to make payment on the 25th. Email was sent as instructed then next day he calls me and advise that MFC declined and he needs to come and collect the car for storage for 10 days till I come up with the money. If I cannot be able to pay it then they will repossess the car. Agreed so today I paid the R9075 to my suprise there is other fees added that I need to pay. Admi fee of 600, valuation fee of 550, towing fee R1870, External debt collector fee of R4140 and storage fee of 350 so in total I must pay R15991 which I'm disputing as I was not told all of these amount on the day of collection even MFC when I explained I'm not working the lady was like she will note it down. So I don't understand after 3 years of owning the car and being a loyal client this is the treatment I'm getting. I wouldn't have paid for the car if I knew that I need to pay so much legal fees. I need someone from MFC and Turn stone Debt Collector to contact me with amicable solution because it is now Covid and we all trying to recover and still looking for a job and don't have that kind of amount. I'm not willing to lose my car as my boyfriend will continue paying as I'm still job hunting. Ntombi Mahlangu Contact Details ***
