Pay for a quote that you will NEVER get
I caused a small dent to my car while reversing and turning (Yes, a stupid mistake and the lamp post won). I took my car to MF Autobody on 11 Feb to get a quote. Right off the bat I could see they are not interested in this repair, as it is "too small" for their business. I was told that I will only get a quote the following Wednesday (16 Feb), which I was okay with. It is 27 Feb today, and I am still waiting for that quote. The best part is they make people pay R 300 for an inspection / quote which never gets done !! Easy money here. PS: The other quotes I got around town are all over R20 000, so it is a small job with good profits. Basically replacing and spraying the fender. That's it !! We have a fleet of 28 vehicles, and I will make sure NONE of them ever go to MF Autobody for a quote, as they are clearly busy enough milking all the other customers.
