Shocking Service at Meyers Motors East London

Meyers Motors in East London give the worst service and basically charge you for zero service rendered. They charged me over R900 for doing absolutely nothing to my car - I couldn't believe it - they didn't even diagnose it. On the receipt they described their charge as a "towing fee". They did not tow my car - I towed my own car to them. The reason I took my car to them was because my car keeps cutting (drives for 5 minutes and cuts). Since they specialise in Opel - I decided to take it to them to diagnose. They immediately tried to strip me of money and told me that for them to diagnose my car I need to buy a starter - which they will charge me R3000 and odd for. I told them there is nothing wrong with the starter - the car starts, it just keeps cutting. They insisted. Due to this, I went to them personally with another starter they I had. They then said to put that starter in the car would be R2350. So I declined their services based on their shocking high costs for such a simple task and informed them that I will fetch my car. So they informed me they will charge me R900 and odd, I asked for what - they said for bringing the car to them - Even though this was never disclosed to me - and even though they did absolutely nothing on the car!!!! Above and beyond that - my car had a massive scratch/bruise on the back side of it - which was never there when I dropped it off. When i told them about this - they simply shrugged their shoulders. I have never experienced that amount of bad service. I will never buy an Opel ever again - nor will I ever visit Meyers Motors in East London for ANYTHING!!!
