My experience with Gustav de Meyer Attorneys has been deeply disappointing.

After I had paid their invoiced conveyancing fees, approximately R7,500 in additional fees was deducted from the interest earned on the trust funds without first being discussed with or approved by me. Also asked the reasons for this, with no answers given

More than two months after registration, I still have not received my title deed or clear answers about it. My repeated emails and calls were ignored, and my WhatsApp contact was eventually blocked. I would strongly advise prospective clients to think carefully and ensure that every fee and communication commitment is confirmed in writing.

I am not a hot headed individual, I am always calm and respectful - it takes a lot to push me to this, and they did.

I really do wish we could've handled things professionally, but ignoring my calls, emails and whatsapp just because I have a legitimate claim, is shameful.
