VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I sent a completed Beneficiary Nomination form on 18/02/2021 to *** for policy no. *** as per the instruction I received when I obtained the form from them for completion and return. I waited a week and received no communication from them. Thereafter I sent several reminders and copied their client care division on ***. The reminders were sent on 26/02/2021, 03/03/2021, 04/03/2021 and 05/03/2021. I have proof of all the e-mails. Despite me saying I will go to social media and Ombudsman if I do not hear from them I have received no communication up to now. It's shocking that such a large company that supposed to be reputable can give such poor service. Even their client care department does not seem to know the meaning of client care. Management and the CEO should be ashamed of their service delivery. Now that I have seen the large number and type of complaints on Hellopeter website I see that I am one of the many dissatisfied policy holders. Companies like this give the insurance market a bad name. Their management and CEO needs to catch a big wake up. My next step is to lodge a complaint with Ombudsman if my simple request for updating beneficiary details is not attended to within 3 days. I suggest that all other dissatisfied customers do the same so that the Ombudsman can see that Metropolitan has very poor leadership and management. Maybe some drastic steps can then be taken to address the problem.
