Unpaid claim
My late grandfather had a policy with metropolitan and now the beneficiary who is a very old woman who is sick is being sent from pillar to post wit no concrete info as to why her claim has not yet paid out she goes to giyani branch every week and they are unable to help her pls check nd call her this is not fair

Please note that Retirement Annuity death claims do take longer than funeral claims because Retirement Annuities fall under the provision of the Pension Funds Act and Income Tax Act.
As such, there are more requirements so that we may satisfy the provisions of these pieces of legislation to pay to the financial and legal dependant/s of the insured person.
One of our Client Care Assessors will investigate the progress of the claim and revert back to you as soon as possible.
