Request for Policy to be reinstated

I would like to Metropolitan Life to review my plea for a reinstatement of my policy. I never received the notification that the policy has lapsed. I contacted Metropolitan arranging for a debit order payment as I have been Permanently employed and, in a position, to make payments towards the policy. I have been paying manually for the policy and it hasn't been easy because of the pandemic. I really need the policy to be reinstated I have been making payments for over 15 years. I feel it's unfair for Metropolitan to just cancel..
