refusal to close an investment plan

<p>I called metropolitan asking them to close an investment plan that I do not even remember opening and stop it. from deducting money from my salary but I was told to go make an affidavit at the police station, make a copy of id document and sign it 3times and send along a 3months stamped bank statement to metropolitan before they can close it. Why is this I do not know because when they open these things for u they do not even ask for ur id copy. I have a funeral cover with them but I'm already starting to think that I should close that too since even their call centre staff is rude and unhelpful.</p>
