We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.
Please note that it takes about two months for Stop Order deductions to start/change or stop deducting on your salary. This is due to closing dates at our end for compilation of magnetic tapes sent to your employer and of course closing dates at your employer’s end to implement these tapes on their next payroll run. Also note that we don’t immediately receive policy premiums as soon as they are deducted from your salary. · Your employer collects premiums from each employee with Metropolitan policies on your pay date and pays them over to us in one bulk payment accompanied by a payment schedule detailing which premiums were paid over for which policies – usually at or shortly after month end. · We then have to distribute these payments and match it to the bulk payment received before we can allocate them to each policy.Only after all this has taken place, can we refund your premium received after cancellation of the policy
One of our Escalation Specialists will look into the complaint as it pertains to your policy and revert back to you as soon as possible.
