Dear *****do

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.

We are sorry to read about the delays you have encountered with your claim.

Regrettably, when Home Affairs issued a new ID, it replaces the old (lost/******/damaged/misplaced) ID and the new ID becomes the citizen's valid ID document.

We require a certified copy of your most recent (the valid) ID for any claims/transactions on policies in order for us to ensure that nobody else is trying to de***** you or attempting to access the funds or benefits in your policy *******ly.

We trust that the above clarifies your understanding as to why we need a certified copy of the latest ID.

Regards
