Policy *** went missing

My mother passed away on 9 October 2016. When we wanted to use the Metropolitan Lewens funeral policy Metropolitan told us that the policy does not excist. How is that possible if we have the sertificate? Then we phone again and then they came with the story that the policy has expired. Every time it cost money and we cant get an answer of what happend to the policy. I really dont think its fair to my dad that he has to go threw this after loosing his wife. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER OF WHERE HIS POLICY IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR MAYBE METROPOLITAN IS JUST ONE BIG **** WHO DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR SERVICE IS BAD, NO WAIT YOUR SERVICE SUC****!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda Vraagom after I phoned you today I am even more disgusted with Metropolitan than before. Metropolitan is the worse company I had ever had to deal with. They do not help their clients after they sold the policy. As long as they get their money they do not care about the people. My father retired at the age of 55 after he was told to do that. He paid the policy for 6 years. Nobody told him to pay longer as on the back of the sertificate it says clearly that if he paid the policy for more than 5 years he will be paid for the years that he had paid. Now you tell me that the contract say he must be 65. He never got the contract only the sertificate. I asked you to please send me the signed contract then you told me that you do not have it for the union have it????????????????????????????????? So unfortunately I have to assume that you do not want me to see the contract. And even so why did they not put it on the back of the sertificate that he must retire at the age of 65? Now it only says at retirement he will be paid. You told me the policy was very old. So what he's AVBOB policy was even 20 years older that this one and they helped us in the best way that they could. It just shows that this a company who care about their clients they will go the extra mile to help then. And if you have Metropolitan on your side you must know that you stand on your own and they will not help you because they do not have any any after service! Did anybody of Metropolitan phoned him after he retired to explain to him about how the policy should be paid???????????????? No!!!!! Because it was to much trouble for somebody at Metropolitan sitting in their aircon office to pick up the phone and make a phone call. YOUR SERVICE SUCK AND I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYBODY. And if I look at all the reveiws here on Hello peter it looks like all the people are unhappy with you.

Dear Ms. Bothma

We always strive to serve all our client's well. We regret that you feel you have had a poor client service experience.

We appreciate that this is a difficult time for you and your family. Please accept and convey our sincere condolences to your father as well.

We will review all that you have mentioned. Please bear in mind that different products have different terms and conditions and that it is a fundamental principle of insurance is that cover is provided in return for premiums paid.
