Once AGAIN debit order amount not taken off. COMPLAINING DOES NOT HELP!

15 Days Later and NO RESPONSE.

DEBIT ORDER NOT TAKEN OFF AGAIN ON THE 25TH! Are you guys joking??????

Previous complaint totally ignored: Why can this company not deduct the policy instalment each month as arranged?? My policy deduction was arranged for the 25th of each month. BUT they wait for me to take the money out before deducting what they are supposed to deduct. For the last 2 months (February and March) NO DEDUCTION was made, money was always available in the account but yet they did not deduct what they were supposed to. DO NOT WAIT FOR ME TO TAKE THE MONEY OUT, JUST DEDUCT MY INSTALLMENT PREMIUM ON THE 25TH OF EACH MONTH AS ARRANGED!!

Feedback can be sent to my email address ONLY as I would like to keep all correspondence should this still not be resolved.

Dear Mr. Brown.

We refer to your HelloPeter post of 4 May 2018.

We have previously responded to your complaint on 19/4/2018.

Debit order deductions cease about 3 months prior to maturity date. Our email explains in detail why:

Maturity claim forms are posted to clients about 6 weeks prior to maturity and have to contain the accurately calculated maturity value.

Banks have a 6-week period (45 days) to inform us of any unpaid debits billed against our client's accounts, so in order to accurately calculate the maturity value, debits cease about 6 weeks prior to the claim forms being posted.

Together, this is about 3 months for which we do not debit your premiums and rather collect these debits from the maturity proceeds.

Please check your emails for 19/4/2018 for more details. You are welcome to contact us directly too, should you require any further questions or concerns.

Regards

Client Care Team.
