Metropolitan Life r not what they seem

My father died last year November so i thought all his policies had lapsed bcoz he was no longer speaking about them when i went to his work place they told m according to their system metropolitan was still registering so i contacted them they wanted his ID number which i provided nd told m his last payment was month end of September nd the policy had lapsed mind u my late father died in November so my lawyer e-mailed them bcoz she ddnt understand how metropolitan says the life policy had lapsed wen only a month wasn't paid they changed their story nd said they never said it has lapsed nd would abide by whatever the court's ruling is in the matter since the was a dispute ff months later after my attorney's have submitted everything they asked for including the court ruling they said they'll pay after 5working days nd i hve since not got even a black cent i warn consumers heavily against metropolitan i'm even tempted to call them ******** they've got no regard for us whatsoever
