Metropolitan life giving me the go around with my refund

I am deeply disappointed in Metropolitan Life. I have had a policy with them for over 6 years now. Last month they deducted two policies I know nothing of. I called them last week and the consultant was very patient and explained everything to me. I was asked to email my documents and they would refund me.

In July I sent them an email stating that I am not happy with them deducting this amount from my payslip without my knowledge or approval, but instead of them refunding me, they want me to go to the police station and write out an affidavit and send countless documents.

So I am supposed to go through so much trouble for a policy I never agreed to? I was told nicely that I would get refunded but now in order to get my money back I have to go through the extra mile?

Metropolitan has dissapointed me hence I even decided to cancel the policy I had with them.
