Metropolitan Life

I want to express my displeasure with the way Metropolitan is handling my Late sister, affairs. My sister died on the 28th of February 2023 but did not have a testament. Because of this, her daughter were told by Metropolitan (because my sister did not had a beneficiary on her policies) that she must apply for an letter of authority. Long story short. we submit al the documents on the 6th of March 2024. Today one of Metropolitans agents told me and my late sister daughter that she saw on the system that they are awaiting an IPO (don't know if this is the correct spelling) and she can't tell me when this matter would be finalize, that we must come back and enquire about the matter. This is unacceptable because the policies my late sister had were an Money Market Savings plan and a Tax-free Money Market. So why is it taking so long?
