Metropolitan is actually the next thing to hell!!!!
I have been going back and forth with this company for over 4 months now it’s actually disgusting how they do business. I app**** for a cancellation of all my policies in July after I told them I am under heavy financial constraints, that wasn’t processed until I came here to complain two months later. My application was just sitting there in their emails and when I came to hellopeter it was only processed then. After that, they kept deducting the combined R1800 for the cancelled policies up to this day, I only received one refund which I had to call God and the Messiah’s to get!!!. I have been complaining every month to their Twitter channel because the phone line rings for 5 years unanswered and their info@metropolitan email is literally worthless. Last Friday I was on a call with a consultant who literally cut my call when I wanted to know why they are still taking my money with no refunds. All they keep saying is ‘They will look into it’ on that useless Twitter platform. This company is quick to activate policies but they are a living nightmare when we have to stop business with them. I am going to start legal action. Stay the hell away from this company If you want your peace. Old Mutual didn’t even need me to call and threaten them, i sent one email and everything was in order. I know they will call after seeing this making all sorts of apologies. ****** ****s!!!
