Metro problems
Struggling with proper communication, no responses from the company. Takes 2 months to refund a months deduction after policy have been cancelled.
No response what so ever.

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.
We always strive to serve all our clients well and regret that you have encountered delays with your refund.
Please note that though Stop Order mode of payment is very reliable method of paying your premiums, a Stop Order deduction takes about two months in order to be activated/changed or stopped. This is due to the fact that there are closing dates at our end to compile the magnetic tapes that are sent to employers and also closing dates at the employer's end for implementing these tapes on their next payroll run.
Also, we don't get the payments individually and immediately from the employer - the employer will send us one bulk payment for all their employees with Metropolitan policies and a payment schedule whereby we then match the amounts for each policy on the bulk payment to the payment schedule and distribute these payments according to that payment schedule.
These may be part of the reason you have experienced delays with your deduction ceasing and receiving your refund.
This being said, one of our Escalation Specialists will reach out to you shortly, in order to trace which policy number you are experiencing delays with your refunds on, so that we may see how we can be of assistance to you.
