Life Cover Surrender!!!

I have just turned 65 years old and have just retired. I have e-mailed Metropolitan life a couple times notifying them of my retirement and again notifying them of my intention to surrender my policy for a cash payout/ life settlement to no avail... it is week two and no response is forthcoming! The two other insurers that I have contacted at the same time along with them have rep**** to me twice each already, Are you there only to deduct money from salaries only Metropolitan life!? I feel I deserve the respect and decency of a response after so many years of my entrusting you with my hard earned money throughout the years...! It is shameful that I had to resort to this platform to receive a measly response from you!!! I hope again that this request does not fall on deaf ears... *Toes Crossed*
