Its difficult to claim the invested money at Metropolitan life

After my nephew get money from RAF i forced him to invest some of his money at Metropolitan life so that he can get some money every month ,after getting some advice from one of consultant. After a month he decided to withdraw all his money and save them with the bank and then we told to withdraw after 6 month even if the contract said we can withdraw anytime, we then tried to obey with the new rules and now the 6 month its over and the new story began, they gave him a medicalform so that the Doctor can examine him so that he can get his money. WHY IS IT DIFFUICUILT TO GET HIS MONEY WHILE IT WAS VERY SIMPLE TO INVEST THE MONEY. WHAT WAS THE MAIN REASON TO DO THE MEDICALS. because when we invest they didn't even ask where he get the money but now its difficulty to give him money. they even say that they will deduct all the money they where giving him every month but his money was used for business and he is not going to get any profit. he claim them from the 1st of July and no sign of getting the money soon
