Highly frustrated and upset

I have went to metropolitan to cancel it rather surrender my policy due to unforeseen circumstances and I was told I cant surrender at this time but I can take a loan . Why should people dictate to you when u should take your own savings out . That is ridiculous I will never take another policy with them and will tell my friends and family to cancel their policies.
