Full of stories, DISGUSTING FUNERAL COVER!!!!

A family member of mine passed on on the 25th November 2017 and was funeral cover has been paid every month. All documentations submitted for the claim with a hand written death certificate from home affairs and an affidavit from Home Affairs stating the reason why they couldn’t issue that document. Home Affairs even tried to contact Metropolitan but was sent from one person to another without any help. The funeral is on Saturday the 2nd December 2017 and clearly Metropolitan is making excuses for the money not to be paid. I'm very disappointing because I have been paying my policies with these people for years and I will definitely be cancelling all my other policies with them. I hope whoever deals with my claim sleeps good at night. Lizo Moyo is the only person who has tried to assist me and clearly he also gave up because he cant do any better.

Dear Mr. Bakaco

Thank you for reporting your concerns to our office. Please accept our condolences at this time of bereavement.

We always strive to serve all our clients well and regret to learn of the difficulties you have experienced in claiming for your relative.

Regrettably, in order to protect all our policyholders, like you, against unsavoury practices/**********, we have to verify the death with each and every claim we receive.

In order for us to verify the death, Home Affairs must register the death on the population register. Until this is done, we cannot proceed with your claim.

Once this process is complete, we will be able to proceed with the claim assessment.

One of our Client Care Assessors will contact you directly, to provide you with more feedback.

Regards

Client Care Team

Home Affairs has registered the death on the population register. The man is dead for Gods sake. But you just not willing to assist for the sake of being difficult. The death certificate is issued by Home Affairs. If you wanted to help you would do your own investigation you have all the details to check if the death is registered because Home Affairs has gone the extra mile to even call you. But NO Metropolitan will never do that right???? Some other insurance companies have accepted this and you the only one difficult. Marriage Certificates and Death Certificates can be hand written but it does not mean they **** or not registered. Stop making stories!!!!!
