***** Increase

Stay away from Metropolitan Life, is a ****!! I have a funeral policy with Metropolitan and the monthly premium is R214.00 for a cover of R10 000.00 per person. I received my salary advice for November 2021 and it confirmed that my premium was increased from R214.00 to R499.00 without my knowledge. I then contacted Metropolitan and I was informed that the policy has been amended to a cover of R40 000.00 per person with a premium of R499.00. I informed the consultant that I did not give Metropolitan permission to increase the cover and the premium and his response was that is a ***** increase, as a result, I have to submit a certified ID copy, sworn affidavit, 3 months bank statement and a copy of my salary advice and they will investigate. I asked about the turnaround time and his response was that there is no turnaround time with regard to their investigation. His attitude was on another level. They have amended my policy without my knowledge and the amended policy was never sent to me because they know very well that they have committed *****. I am working hard for my money. Payback my money.....
