Deduction without my knowledge or consent.
I am very angry and disappointed by Metropolitan Life. I am writing to formally complain about unauthorized deductions from my salary by your company. I have noticed that my salary has will be deducted by your company from the 15 December going forward without my knowledge or consent.
I have not been informed about any policy or agreement that justifies these deductions. I request an immediate investigation into this matter and a detailed explanation of the reasons behind these deductions. Additionally, I expect a full refund of the deducted amounts and assurance that no further unauthorized deductions will occur.
Please treat this matter with urgency and provide a response as soon as possible. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue to the relevant regulatory authorities.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.
We are sorry to read that you seem to have experienced an unauthorized deduction.
At Metropolitan we have a zero-tolerance approach to *****. We do our utmost to eradicate such behavior and rely on our valued clients to blow the whistle on any such ********* activities.
It pains us to have to bother our clients to submit ***** requirements:
- A sworn affidavit stating that they didn't agree to the policy and whether or not they know the adviser
- A certified copy of their ID with 3 x specimen signatures done on the document, in the presence of the certifying commissioner of oaths
- Proof of the deduction (salary or bank statement)
- Proof of bank details (to facilitate the refund once the ***** allegation has been substantiated)
These requirements help us with the legal aspects of addressing the ********** behavior.
One of our Escalation Specialists will investigate and revert back to you as soon as possible regarding your complaint.
