Deceiving information upon marketing

I joined Metropolitan investment policy in September 2017. The sales consultant that came to me advised me that should i invest R 500 monthly for 10 years, my payback(maturity value) will be R 500 000.00. I did not get the contract immediately after signing as i was told that it will be posted which was never done. After a year i get my contract however my pay out will only be R 60 904.00 after 10 years. Does that mean Metropolitan's interest in 10 years is only R 904.00? I WANT ALL MY MONEY that i paid to Metropolitan back and i want full amount R 6000.00 back. i cant invest money for so many years just for me to gain R 900 . Banks are even better.
