Death Claim

Good Afternoon I submitted a death claim request yesterday and I received the SMS below. METROPOLITAN: Your website enquiry (ref no. ***8) was assigned to Neil Groepies, who will make contact shortly. ***. Together we can.

I waited for the call and no one called. I then went to the Port Elizabeth branch first thing this morning to submit the required document which i did and i was told someone will call me for a telephonic claim. At 12.10.45 i got a SMS that *** called but went on voicemail even though my phone was on. I then called back the number at metropolitan to find out how far they are with my claim and I was then told by Roxanne that there is one consultant working because everyone else is on lunch. I then asked her what time it will be back from lunch and she said at 2pm, bear in mind it was 12:37 when I called back. I don't know what type of lunch your employees have but i was appalled by that response while following up on the death claim that i pay for every month without fail. After that i called your call centre and spoke to Ivan and he indicated that someone will call me, i ended the call with Ivan at 13:10. At 14:11 I called again and this time I spoke to Meshack who said he is escalating the claim for me again. I don't understand what the point of submitting documents at a branch is if there is nothing to be done from their side. The service I received has damaged you and I am really disappointed because I would never recommend your company after what I have experienced the past 2 days. I have now financial loss because i thought by now the claim would have been processed. Regards KK Ntsukunyane
