Claim submitted 12 days ago
I submitted a claim on the 15th of January 2021. Till today I have not receive anything. How is this even acceptable in their eyes. I called on Monday I was advised that it will be resolved within 48 hours. 48 hours are finished I called again. It's been 12 days. This is horrible customer service

We are sorry to learn of the loss of your loved one. Our thoughts go out to your and your family during this difficult time.
We regret that you have experienced delays with your claim and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay.
You are correct, we do strive to process claims within a 48-hour turnaround time. However currently this goal is under pressure.
We would like to assure you that we are tirelessly working towards catching up with this abnormal influx of claims and we are sorry that this has impacted our service delivery to you, at a time when your family needed the policy payout the most.

- Not only are we receiving a sharp increase in claims as our valued clients battle the pandemic and have to lay loved ones to rest, but our own staff have also not been spared.
- Many of our staff members are similarly battling Covid -19 infections or have to quarantine due to exposure or offices need to close for steam-cleaning, while others need to take the time to lay their relatives to rest.
- All of this causes that there are fewer assessors available to process the claims.
