05 Mar 2020, 14:11Dear Nepo Dawete
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.
Please accept our sincere condolences at this time of bereavement.
We regret to learn that you encountered delays with the processing of your claim.
We acknowledge we did receive your claim late in January 2020 and the contract does make provision for still-born babies if the birth or surgical removal of the deceased baby from the birth-mother's womb is after the 26th week of pregnancy.
We therefore requested you to furnish us with a letter from your doctor or the hospital with more information to assess if the claim received is valid in line with the policy terms and conditions.
We do however confirm that the claim was finalized earlier today.
Regards

06 Mar 2020, 09:29Thanks a lot hello peter and metropolitan
Its only fair that i should come back and report that following my yesterday's review a payment on my claim was made.I can pay some funeral debts
My biggest worry is that in future do we need this platform for claims to be paid?
I am worried but thanks
