BAD SERVICE AGAIN
I canceled my Metropolitan about a moth ago due to BAD service and still they are deducting monthly premiums from my salary.
Strange, its easy to take out a policy and we as clients pay on the dot every month like myself for years but when you need service you dont get help, when you cancel they keep on deducting, and only respond when you scream or use social media, I wonder is this fair.

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint on HelloPeter.
We are sorry to read that you are unhappy with our service.
Stop Order mode of payment is by far the most reliable way to pay one's policy premium.
Unfortunately, due to closing dates, it does take about two months to start/change/stop a deduction on a client's salary

- we have closing dates at our end to compile magnetic tapes that go to employers
- employers have closing dates at their end to implement these magnetic tapes on their next payroll run
This often brings about that once we've cancelled a policy on our records, we have already submitted the deduction to your employer for the following month and the cancellation can only be implemented on your employer's payroll run for the second month after the policy is cancelled.
You may however rest assured that we do however take the cancellation date into account and refund premiums received for and from the month after which you cancelled your plan.
This being said, a Client Care Assessor will investigate your complaint and revert back to you directly as soon as possible.
Regards
Client Care Team
