I sent notification via email to amend my debit order date to the 01st of every month on 07/08/2017. After this email was read (read receipt was received), the debit order was still processed on the incorrect date which resulted in an unpaid charge being levied by my bank. I subsequently communicated this error both telephonically and via email to Momentum. I was advised by one of the consultants, Pride, that I must send an email to request the refund of the bank charge. She also advised that I would receive a response within 48 hours. No response was received. I then sent a follow up email…still no response. To my surprise, on 01/10/2017 I was double debited to cover 08/2017 & 09/2017 debit orders. This without any notification from Metropolitan.
I contacted the call centre telephonically today, 06/10/2017 to request that my policy be cancelled. The agent I spoke to was quite HAPPY to do so which is very disturbing as I have been a Metropolitan client for over 10years.
I still want the refund for the unpaid charge levied by my bank. Perhaps this public forum will help in finally getting someone to respond.
