Buses constantly breaking down

The double-decker Metrobuses from Gandhi Square to Pretoria have been breaking down almost daily. I use this bus everyday and i have been an hour late for work more than twice a week since the start of the new year. The bus drivers themselves say they have been complaining but they suggest we go on strike because their voices are not heard. I'm a tax paying citizen, where are my tax deductions going if public transport is this bad? It's really getting out of hand. We have 2 people in wheel chairs who get left behind on the highway or where ever the bus breaks down and we all try to squeeze into any approaching bus to Centurion or Midrand.
