Traffic officials wasted my time!!!

Yesterday morning (8 September 2019)at around 10 am,we were stopped by a traffic officer, who accused me of going through a red traffic light. And when I tried to explain to him how that traffic light works, he gave me a fine of R500. I asked him why didn't he stop the other cars including a taxi that also went through the so called red traffic light? He didn't answer me... I stood there and watched how that operates, then I asked him again why didn't he stop the other cars again now, him and his colleagues just laughed at me. So I did u-turn and took a video of the the traffic lights, so when they saw us coming back they decided to rush back to their cars and left. He didn't even have a name tag on however I took a picture of his bakkie. I am not going to pay that fine.... Pls investigate this matter
