Recived SMS to apear in court.

i Received a fine from the EMPD Metro Police. for going 72 In a 60 Zone(i am in the wrong) on my fine it says i have until the 26 June 2015 to pay which is tomorrow my fine was paid this morning on the 25 June 2015 before the date of which the payment was due by but later on in the day i Received and SMS from EMPD stating that i am now due to be in Court on the 8th August 2015.<br> i tried phoning them to find out what is going on and why am i told to go to court when the payment date isnt past yet and my fine has been payed already.<br> i tried phoning ***...***...***......***<br> and the phones just rang.but the land line *** gets answered then the call gets dropped straight away.so are we as TAX payers paying for non existing services that we do not receive.
